Grand Bahama

Grand Bahama is the northernmost of the islands of the Bahamas, and the closest major island to the United States, lying 86 kilometres (53 mi) off of Palm Beach, Florida. It is the fourth largest island in the Bahamas island chain of approximately 700 islands and 2,400 cays. Administratively, the island consists of the Freeport Bonded Area and the districts of East Grand Bahama and West Grand Bahama. It's famed for its beaches, reef-lined coves and mangrove swamps, as well as its all-inclusive resorts and golf courses.

We just returned from our honeymoon on Bora Bora and Moorea. Everything was planned out perfectly. Over-water bungalow on Bora Bora was something else. There were rays, fishes, and occasional black tip shark around our bungalow all the time. Great suggestions for accommodations and activities from trip designs. Maruru
